Germany, SS. A SS Mess Hall Table Fork, by Olympia

(SS Tafelgabel). Constructed of magnetic steel, the obverse plain with a curved and tapering handle, the reverse stamped with a mark of “SS REICH’, a maker’s mark of “ORIGINAL OLYMPIA” circumscribing the firm’s stadium logo, and an inscription of “OXYDEX ROSTFREI” indicating stainless steel construction, measuring 25 mm (w) x 215 mm (l), in extremely fine condition.
