An early worn example in nickel-silver, consisting of an oak and laurel wreath, the obverse bearing a Luftwaffe-style German national eagle clutching a hand-filed mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, measuring 64.34 mm (w) x 53.26 mm (h), weighing 31.1 grams, early narrow wreath variant by C.E.Juncker, having been period field repaired to the reverse, remains in good condition.
