In silver with red and white enamels, measuring 31 mm (w) x 34.3 (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, chipping and loss evident in the red enamels on the obverse centrepiece ring, original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, better than fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, maroon pebbled exterior, inscribed "MILITÄR-VERDIENST-KREUZ / K.D." on the lid, white satin inside lid, black felt recessed medal bed, measuring 58 mm (w) x 110 mm (h) x 21 (d), light scuffing evident on the exterior, case very fine.
