(Guelphen-Orden Miniatur). Instituted 1815 by Prince Regent George (later King George III). Consisting of a solid Gold Maltese Cross with each arm topped by finials and with a stylized lion passant in each quadrant of the Cross, centre of the obverse bears a white hand painted Hanoverian horse on a vibrant red enameled background within a ring of blue enamel, the reverse centre features a red enamel centre, topped with an engraved gold crown, measuring 14.74 mm (w) x 22.52 mm (h), weighing 2.3 grams, white horse has faded, otherwise extremely fine.
