Czechoslovakia, I Republic. A Volleyball Tournament Goblet, by Sandrik

Constructed of nickel silver, consisting of a deep goblet bearing detailed etched designs along the exterior, perched on top of a lacquered black wooden sphere resting on a flat nickel silver base, the exterior bearing an etched inscription dedicating the goblet as a trophy to a participant in a volleyball tournament organized by the Sokol gymnastics association, retaining an original lid with a knob consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, the base maker marked with the logo of Sandrik and a mark indicating nickel silver (Alpacca) composition, measuring 122 mm (w) x 285 mm (h), some tarnishing and scratching is evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
