Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and with crossed swords through the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a wreathed date of “1939”, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “6” for Fritz Zimmermann, Stuttgart, measuring 49.37 mm (w) x 49.24 mm (h), weighing 25.1 grams, in extremely fine condition; accompanied by its award document, named to “OBERWACHTMEISTER FRANZ LEHNER” of 1. Kompanie, Führung-Nachrichten-Regiment 601, awarded on 20 April 1941 at Oberkommando des Heeres headquarters, featuring the handwritten signature of General Erich Fellgiebel (executed July 20th plotter), measuring 148 mm (w) x 210 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
