Germany, Luftwaffe. An Oels Headquarters Car Plate

(Fliegerhorstkommandantur Oels Plakette). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a central Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “FLIEGERHORSTKOMMANDANTUR OELS” (Air Force Headquarters Oels, now Oleśnica, Poland), the reverse with a threaded lug, unmarked, measuring 40 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
