Born 20 July 1943 in the Bačka region of Serbia, Pfeiffer served with the 8th SS Cavalry Division Florian Geyer. His last known whereabouts were in Romania on 24 September 1944. The request for information was filed by his wife, Katharine Rann of Giengen, Heidenheim. It features a black-and-white photo of Rann in the uniform of a SS-Sturmmann. Measuring 210 mm (w) x 145 mm (h), it demonstrates some soiling, and is in a very fine condition.
