Germany, Federal Republic. A Set of Oak Leaves and Swords to the Knight’s Cross, 1957 Version

(Eichenlaub und Schwertern zum Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes). Instituted 15 July 1941. (1941-1945 issue; post-1957 reissue). Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of a pair of crossed swords, topped by three detailed oak leaves, the reverse with intact attachment prongs curved into a loop, stamped with a silver content mark of “800”, measuring 22.47 mm (w) x 27.26 mm (h), weighing 7.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
