Germany, Wehrmacht. An Afrika Korps Commemorative Ring

(Deutsches Afrikakorps Ring). Constructed of a gilded zink alloy, the exterior bearing a central raised Afrika Korps (DAK) insignia in the form of a palm tree overlaid by a mobile swastika, flanked by an inscription of “DAK 1941”, with each side of the ring bearing a raised mounted camel, unmarked, measuring 20 mm in diameter, with loss of finish and minor oxidation evident, a unique example in very fine condition.
