A lot of three Czechoslovakian trench art brass shells, including a small Second World War period shell, the exterior consisting of a central band of raised and highly-detailed flowers, above and below ribbing, the base bearing calibre marks indicating Soviet manufacture and a date of “43”, measuring 88 mm (w) x 300 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a large Second World War period shell, the exterior featuring detailed tropical scenery in the form of a palm tree and wetland with a large bird appearing to be a greater flamingo (indicating service in the Mediterranean, Balkan, or Black Sea regions), the base featuring Soviet calibre stamps, measuring 125 mm (w) x 380 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Socialist Republic period shell, the exterior featuring raised flower and floral designs around the circumference, the base bearing a number of markings, including a manufacture date of “1957”, a Czechoslovakian Army acceptance code consisting of a number “57” flanked by crossed swords, a mark of “OTV” indicating approval by the Technical Inspector Office, and a maker’s mark of “AVM” for an unidentified factory, measuring 86 mm (w) x 310 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
