A lot of four medals, including an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords through the centrepiece, the obverse bearing central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse maker marked “O & B” for an unidentified manufacturer, measuring 37 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a German Red Cross Merit Medal, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 34 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition; a 1917 Leipzig war gratitude medallion, constructed of zink, unmarked, measuring 35 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition, and; a War Commemorative Medal of 1870/1871, constructed of bronze, unmarked, measuring 29 mm in diameter, missing its suspension loop, in very fine condition.
