Kingdom of Sardinia Ministry of War, Medal for Military Valour Award Document, Named to Major Major Edward Michell (obverse numbered "3/4", inscribed in Italian, issued for the award of the "Medaglie Sarde al Valor militare" (Sardinian Medal for Military Valour) to "Maggiore Giovanni Edoardo Michell, Artigliera Reale" (Major John Edward Michell, Royal Artillery), reverse stamped by the Adjutant General's Office, Royal Artillery and dated February 20, 1858, inscribed in pencil "Michell' and handwritten black ink "Certificate / Sardinian Medals", printed in light brown and black inks, with the Ministry of War embossed stamp, dated October 20, 1857 at Turin, measuring 395 mm (w) x 291 mm (h), fold marks); 
3. Discharge Certificate, Named to 13764 Corporal William Russell, Royal Artillery (attested at New Brighton on January 6, 1879, confirming that he had served for 6 years and 227 days, dated August 20, 1885 at Aldershot, stamp of the Adjutant General in faded blue ink and dated "20 AUG 85", printed in black ink on both sides, with handwritten inscriptions in black ink, on a parchment stock, measuring 190 mm (w) x 240 m (h), fold marks, edge wear, curled).
