Germany, Wehrmacht. A Kreta Cuff Title

(Ärmelband Kreta). Constructed of white cotton, the exterior trimmed with golden-yellow threaded piping along both edges, with a central machine-embroidered golden-yellow inscription of “KRETA”, flanked on each side by stylized acanthus designs, unmarked, measuring 32 mm (w) x 395 mm (l), with soiling and material fatigue evident, in addition to apparent repairs, in overall very fine condition.
