Germany, Luftwaffe. A Mess Hall Table Fork, by Berndorf

(Luftwaffe Gabel). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse with a tapering handle, marked with a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, flanked by initials “FL. U. V.” for Flieger Unterkunft Verwaltung (Flight Barracks Administration), the reverse stamped with a maker’s mark of “BERNDORF” and a manufacture date of “1941”, measuring 26 mm (w) x 208 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition.
