A lot of three trench art brass shells, including a large shell featuring etched designs around the circumference and topped by perforated designs around the scalloped rim, the base featuring calibre markings indicating Austro-Hungarian manufacture at Berndorf for a 8 cm FK M. 5 field gun, with a date of “1915”, measuring 86 mm (w) x 282 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; two small shells, each bearing flowers and linden leaves on dimpled backgrounds across the circumference, one shell unmarked, the other bearing marks indicating manufacture for a Czechoslovakian 37 mm cm KPÚV vz. 34 anti-tank gun, with a manufacture date of “1936”, the unmarked shell measuring 48 mm (w) x 220 mm (h), the marked shell measuring 55 mm (w) x 216 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
