A lot of four Heer portraits, including a wartime depiction of an Officer, the reverse in postcard format and with a handwritten dedication to a friend, signed at Cambrai and dated “NOV. 1917”, measuring 87 mm (w) x 137 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a Heer NCO, the reverse in postcard format, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 138 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a second portrait of a Heer NCO, the reverse in postcard format, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 138 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a portrait of a Reichswehr Enlisted soldier, the reverse bearing a handwritten dedication from Regensburg and date of “21. 2. 23.”, measuring 88 mm (w) x 135 mm (h), with minor material fatigue evident, in very fine condition.
