Germany, Federal Republic. A 1939 Clasp to the Iron Cross II Class, 1957 Version

(Spange zum Eisernen Kreuz II. Klasse). Constructed of blackened and silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a central Iron Cross, overlaying a rectangular plaque bearing a raised date of “1939”, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, connecting to a period original length of ribbon, unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 14 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
