(Feldmütze). A well-preserved example of a Second War Technische Nothilfe (Technical Emergency Help) Officer’s overseas cap, constructed of dark navy-blue wool, with fold-down scallops to the front and side, the crown, and the front edges of the scalloped side panels feature embroidered silver/aluminum piping, indicating the rank of Officer, the front of the cap features a machine embroidered TeNo-style eagle, constructed of silver aluminum bullion and black machine embroidery, that is hand-sewn to the cap, directly below is a tri-colour national cockade constructed of red, white, and black embroidery over a black wool backer, the cap is lined on the interior with a black cotton lining, measures 27 cm (w) x 10.5 cm (folded), without holes or tears of any kind, an extremely lightly worn example, and in overall near mint condition.
