A NSDAP Ansbach-Bocksberg district flag, constructed of a red cotton-blended twill, trimmed along three edges with a machine-stitched silver aluminum wire fringe, the house edge stitched with integrated and fully functional non-magnetic metal spring clips, featuring a double-sided insignia located at the upper corner of the hoist edge, each consisting of a thick rectangular black wool backer, trimmed with twisted and rolled white threaded piping, bearing a machine-embroidered white inscription of “ANSBACH-BOCKSBERG 1”, each measuring 205 mm (w) x 168 mm (h), also bearing a double-sided central insignia consisting of a white rayon disc measuring 745 mm in diameter, overlaid by a black rayon mobile swastika secured in place along the edges with tight machine stitching, the upper corner of the hoist edge bears a hand-stitched mark of “HW” (mirrored on the reverse as “WH”), it is otherwise unmarked with the exception of an illegible black ink stamped mark near the lower corner of the hoist edge, it measures 1370 mm (w) x 1090 mm (h), issued consistent with age and display are evident, and include an array of small holes (particularly concentrated throughout the outer half of the flag), along with moderate soiling and fatigue of the wire fringe (with a small patch missing from the lower edge when viewed from the obverse), a rare flag in overall very fine condition.
