(Gürtelschnallen). A pair of belt buckles, including a Luftwaffe EM/NCO’s buckle, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a central raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within an oval laurel leaf wreath, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment prongs connecting to a period original brown leather belt bearing an embossed manufacture date of “1939”, the buckle maker marked “F.R.” for Franz Reischauer, Oberstein, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), the obverse swastika has been partially ground out, in very fine condition, and; an early Sturmabteilung (SA) personnel buckle, constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised SA-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed sunwheel-style swastika, within a ribbed ring bearing oak leaf branches, the reverse with swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 63 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with some oxidation evident, in very fine condition.
