1. Military Medal, Type III (1938-1970) (Medalla Militar). Instituted in 1918. Three-piece construction, in silvered bronze, unmarked, measuring 41 mm (w) x 49.5 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, exhibiting silvering wear and traces of greening on the obverse, original ribbon, on a traditional Spanish-style horizontal hanger with pinback).
2. War Cross, Type I (1938-1942) (Cruze de Guerra). Instituted in 1938. Three-piece construction, centrepiece insignia in bronze gilt with red, white and blue enamels, the insignia centering a silver gilt wreath with cross and backed by crossed swords, the four arms of the cross bearing the Franco crown, two facing lions and a castle, with dabs of red enamelled beads on the wreath, mounted to a silver eight-pointed star base, each star point with five pairs of faceted rays, measuring 61.5 mm (w) x 60.5 mm (h), vertical pinback, intact enamels, the centrepiece slightly loose versus the base.
Light contact on both awards, together, better than very fine.
