Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and wreathed inscription of “KRIEGER VERDIENST” (“WARRIOR MERIT”), the reverse bearing the monogram of King Wilhelm I, unmarked, measuring 25.03 mm in diameter, weighing 8.1 grams, in extremely fine condition.
