(Jewellery, Brooches). Antique. Ladies. Handcrafted in platinum, this beautiful brooch is in the shape of a winged propeller. The center bears a rounded cabochon sapphire, measuring approximately 6.00 x 3.48mm, weighing approximately 1.40ct., by gauge of medium dark tone of moderately strong, slightly violetish blue colour, moderately included, good cut; with two old marquise cut diamonds, measuring approximately 8.70-4.70 x 2.34/2.24mm, weighing approximately total 1.10ct., by gauge of SI clarity, E-F colour. The brooch also contains 146 single and European cut diamonds, measuring approximately 2.5mm to 1.1mm, weighing approximately total 3.60ct.by gauge of VS-2 tp I-1 clarity, F-G-H colour. The reverse bears a horizontal pin in 14kt white gold with a functioning flat wire lever safety clasp. Measuring 83.5mm (w) x 32.8mm (h) and weighing 19.3 grams. Of superb French quality manufacture, unmarked and in near mint condition.
