(Currency, Coins). Antique. A circular coin constructed of gold. The obverse features the bust of George I, encompassed by the inscription “GEORGIVS∙ D G∙ MER∙ FR∙ ET∙ HIB∙ REX∙ FD”. The reverse bears crowned shields in cruciform with scepters at angles, encompassed by the inscription “BRVN ET∙L∙DVX S∙I∙R∙A∙TH ET∙EL ∙17 18∙”. Measuring 15.70mm in diameter. This coin has been graded VF20 by ICCS (International Coin Certification Service).
