A mixed lot of insignia, including a 1st Fallschirm-Panzer Division Hermann Göring EM/NCO’s cap eagle, constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 76 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a Heer Gebirgsjäger EM/NCO’s sleeve insignia, constructed of field-grey wool, the obverse consisting of a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss within a knotted border topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 56 mm (w) x 69 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a DRL Sports Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around central stylized initials “DRL”, the reverse with a barrel hinge and flattened vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked “H. WERNSTEIN, JENA”, measuring 39.06 mm (w) x 48.63 mm (h), weighing 17.4 grams, in extremely fine condition.
