Croatia, Independent State. A Ustasha Leader's Collar Tab Pair, Very Scarce

Insignia in red, white and light blue embroidery, stitched in place to a brown wool upper, all four edges trimmed in crimson red angled piping, the brown wool wrapped around to the reverse and sewn in place around the stiff metal framework, quality manufacture, measuring 44.5 mm (w) x 45.5 mm (h) and 43 mm (w) x 46.5 mm (h), extremely fine.

Footnote: These type of collar tabs were worn by political leaders of the Ustasha movement. Leaders like Pavelic, Kvaternik and Budak, wore these type of collar tabs on their uniforms.
