2. Merit Cross 1849, IV Class, First Period (1849-1875) (Verdienstkreuz). Instituted in 1849 (in silver with red enamels, maker marked "F. BRAUN IN WIEN" on the ring, measuring 31.7 mm (w) x 35.3 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, chipping evident in the red enamels on the arm at 3 o'clock on the obverse, replacement triangular ribbon with hook and eye).
3. Honour Decoration of the Red Cross, Bronze Grade Medal with War Decoration (Ehrenzeichen vom Roten Kreuz). Instituted in 1914 (two-piece construction, Red Cross insignia in bronze gilt with red and white enamels, mounted to an oval base in bronze gilt with green enamels, measuring 36.5 mm (w) x 49.3 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, intact enamels, spotting evident on the reverse, original triangular ribbon with hook and eye).
4. Karl Troop Cross (Karl Truppen Kreuz). Instituted in 1916 (in war materials, measuring 29.5 mm (w) x 34.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, paper residue evident on the reverse of its original triangular ribbon with hook and eye from previous board mounting).
