(Staatsflagge des Königreichs Preußen). A well-preserved, late-period Prussian flag, constructed of a coarse white cotton twill, featuring a double-sided, screen-printed Prussian national eagle clutching an orb and scepter, the hoist edge featuring a hollow white cotton channel through which is looped a period original drawstring, with each end of the latter completing in a functional magnetic metal spring clip, unmarked, measuring 1260 mm (w) x 980 mm (h), minor, age-appropriate discolouration is evident and there are numerous small patches of hand-stitched repairs with several small holes still visible, in overall very fine condition.
