(Ehrenkreuze der Deutschen Mutter). A lot of three Honour Crosses of the German Mother, including a Silver Grade award, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Latin Cross with its quadrants joined by stylized sun rays, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, with a central white enameled disc overlaid by a black swastika, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse bearing an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and a signature of the Führer, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), with moderate loss of finish evident, in very fine condition; a Bronze Grade award, of identical construction and appearance, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; a Bronze Grade miniature, of identical construction and appearance, the reverse maker marked with LDO code “L/58” for Rudolf Souval, Vienna, measuring 16 mm (w) x 21 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
