Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT” (“SERVICE TO THE STATE”), the reverse bearing a raised and crowned monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm III, unmarked, measuring 39.21 mm in diameter, weighing 22.8 grams, in extremely fine condition.
