(Reichsnährstand Landesbauernschaft Bayern Ehrenzeichen für 40 Jahre Treue Dienste mit Etui). Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of a stylized scalloped oval border, with a central raised Reichsnährstand insignia consisting of a mobile swastika overlaid by a sword and wheat stalk, with each corner joined by an oak leaf, circumscribed by an inscription of “REICHSNÄHRSTAND - LANDESBAUERNSCHAFT BAYERN” in runic script, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, stamped with a marked of “SILBER” and a content number of “900”, measuring 38.30 mm (w) x 45.06 mm (h), weighing 22.9 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of two pieces of light blue card stock, with the piece comprising the medal bed sliding into the accompanying cover, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), the case demonstrating some material fatigue while the badge is in an extremely fine condition.
