A rare and historic document which outlines the international travels and many of the political movements of communist Romania's leader throughout the late 1950's. Leather-bound cover, with the embossed coat-of-arms of the Romanian People's Republic on the front cover, each named to "Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej" with his emboss stamped photo in black and white. Dated December 31, 1956 and numbered "2271", incorporating multiple stamps from the Romanian People's Republic (RPR), the Soviet Union (USSR), the German Democratic Republic (DDR), the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic (CSSR), measuring 102 mm x 145 mm each), very fine.
