(Maria-Anna-Orden Kreuz). Instituted 15 May 1906 by King Friedrich August III. (1913-1918 issue). Constructed of a silver-plated alloy, consisting of Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse with a centrepiece bearing a raised leftward-facing profile of Princess Maria Anna, the reverse with an analogous centrepiecs bearing a raised monogram of Princess Maria Anna, the twelve o’clock arm topped by a stylized integral loop connecting to a suspension ring which retains a period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 32.70 mm (w) x 34.58 mm (h), weighing 14.1 grams, in extremely fine condition.
