(Hugo Junkers Gedenkmünze in Silber). Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward-facing profile of Professor Hugo Junkers in exceptional detail, circumscribed by name and his passing date of “1935”, the reverse bearing a central raised eagle in mid-flight, topped by a Junkers Ju 52-style aircraft, circumscribed by an inscription of “D. JUNKERSWERKE IN DESSAU SCHÖPFER”, the obverse designer marked “K. GOETZ” for the firm of Karl Goetz, the edge maker marked “BAYER. HAUPTMÜNZAMT” for the Bavarian Mint and “FEINSILBER” indicating 999 silver composition, measuring 36.00 mm in diameter, weighing 19.8 grams, in extremely fine condition.
