Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle over a hollow background, with talons indicting professional factory removal of lightning bolts, the reverse with two rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked “IMME & SOHN, BERLIN”, measuring 42.32 mm (w) x 52.96 mm (h), weighing 32.6 grams, presenting free of any faults or damage and in a near mint condition.
