(Erinnerungsmedaille für Rettung aus Gefahr). Instituted 22 June 1933 by Paul von Hindenburg. (1934-145 issue). Constructed of neusilber, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle overlaid by a shield bearing a raised mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR RETTUNG AUS GEFAHR” (“FOR RESCUE FROM DANGER”), within a circular oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 49.84 mm in diameter, weighing 55.8 grams, with minor tarnishing evident, in near extremely fine condition.
