A mixed lot of nine wartime photos, including one depicting a Heer NCO in a tropical uniform, with an indeterminate campaign shield visible on his left arm, the reverse bearing a handwritten location and date of “1944”, printed on unmarked but unquestionably original light wartime photo paper, measuring 74 mm (w) x 104 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a Luftwaffe Enlisted soldier in a tropical uniform, unmarked and printed on cut-down wartime postcard paper, measuring 68 mm (w) x 82 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a Luftwaffe Feldwebel, in uniform and with the Condor Legion cuff title clearly visible, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 100 mm (h), the reverse with the remnants of adhesive and card stock indicating removal from an album, in extremely fine condition; one depicting a Luftwaffe Oberleutnant, in uniform and with a number of awards, including the Spanish Cross with Swords, the Spanish Pilot’s Badge, the Luftwaffe Pilot’s Badge, and the 1939 Iron Cross in both II and I Classes, unmarked, printed on Agfa-Brovira paper, measuring 73 mm (w) x 103 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting an unidentified Heer General in the field, in uniform and wearing the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross along with other decorations, unmarked, printed on Mimosa Sunotyp paper, measuring 62 mm (w) x 89 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting Heer soldiers wearing Stahlhelms in a trench on the Eastern Front, one wearing the Infantry Assault Badge, unmarked, printed on Agfa-Lupex paper, measuring 62 mm (w) x 92 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a group of Luftwaffe personnel celebrating in a train car with wine bottles, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting two Heer Enlisted soldiers at leisure, unmarked, printed on Agfa-Lupex paper, measuring 62 mm (w) x 91 mm (h), and; one depicting a Luftwaffe Gefreiter wearing a Marksmanship Lanyard, unmarked, printed on Ridax paper, measuring 60 mm (w) x 86 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
