(Timepieces, Wristwatches). Vintage. This Universal Genève watch features a green faux marble dial with Roman numeral hour markers. The dial is marked below the 12 o’clock hour marker with the Universal Genève maker mark with “UNIVERSAL GENEVE”. Encompassed by an 18kt gold bezel and case, with a black suede strap stamped on the interior “BRUMER CORJAM”. The strap bears five adjustment holes, a free loop and a rectangular buckle stamped “PLAQUE DEPOSE G”, “AW”, “SWISS”. The case back is marked “1 42,100/19” and “2600231”. The crown is stamped “U” for Universal Genève”. Measuring 34.65mm (diameter with crown) x 39.60mm (l) without strap. Weighs 25.0 grams (including strap). Mechanical movement, functional and in extremely fine condition.
