A lot of four Fallschirmjäger Knight’s Cross recipient postcards, including one depicting a full-colour Wolfgang Willrich illustration of Major Walter Koch, a veteran of the storming of Fort Eben-Emael and the Battle of Crete who received the Knight’s Cross on 10 May 1940, the reverse unused and and with studio and VDA marks, measuring 105 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a full-colour Wolfgang Willrich illustration of Oberst Bruno Bräuer, the one-time commander of Fortress Crete who received the Knight’s Cross on 24 May 1940, the reverse unused and with studio marks, measuring 105 mm (w) x 147 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a Wolfgang Willrich illustration of Oberleutnant Herbert Schmidt, a veteran of the invasion of Norway who received the Knight’s Cross on 29 May 1940, the reverse unused and with studio and VDA marks, measuring 105 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; one depicting a full-coloured Wolfgang Willrich illustration of Feldwebel Helmut Arpke, who received the Knight’s Cross on 29 May 1940 for meritorious actions during the storming of Fort Eben-Emael, the reverse unused and with studio marks, measuring 105 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
