A “Front Heil” Veteran’s Commemorative Pocket Knife

Constructed of a bronzed metal core with steel blades (magnetic); depicting a German Stahlhelm before a vertically oriented downward pointing sword, with a upward facing half oak leaf wreath with a tricolour banner directly below; inscribed with “Der Gott der Eisen wachsen lies - der wollte keine Knechte” (The God who let iron grow - who didn’t want servants”, as well as “Front Heil”; with a larger blade on one end (48 mm long), and a smaller blade at the other (36 mm long); the larger blade is very sharp and cuts paper, the smaller is dull; measuring 78 mm x 21 mm; near very fine condition.
