Germany, Wehrmacht. A 1945 Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 100 Commemorative Campaign Medal

(Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 100 Erinnerungsmedaille). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse bearing a raised Gebirgsjäger and mule, above an inscription of “WESTALPEN ITALIEN”, the reverse bearing a raised stage circumscribed by an inscription of “LE. KOL./GEB. JAG. RGT. 100”, within a date of “1945”, unmarked, measuring 28 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), with minor oxidation and loss of finish evident, in near extremely fine condition.
