France, III Republic. Two Victory Medals, Type I, Official Version

(Medaille de la Victorie). Instituted on July 20, 1922. Both in bronze gilt, engraver marked "A. MORLON" on the obverse; one is marker marked with the Arthus Bertrand insignia and marked "BR" on the reverse, measuring 35.5 mm in diameter, original ribbon, exhibiting spotting; the other is hallmarked with a cornucopia and marked "BR" on the reverse, measuring 34.7 mm in diameter, replacement ribbon; both in their cardboard boxes of issue, better than very fine and near extremely fine, respectively.
