Germany, Heer. An EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle, by Schmolle & Co.

(Heer Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of grey-painted magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD IS WITH US”) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, maker marked with a logo attributed to Schmolle & Co., Menden, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
