Germany, Heer. A NCO’s Portepee Fob

(Heer Portepee). A Heer NCO’s portepee fob, consisting of a stylized acorn constructed of twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire with a green threaded cap, suspended from a cord constructed of dark green rayon, trimmed on each side by machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire tresses, suspended from a functional silvered bronze spring clip, unmarked, measuring 90 mm in length (exclusive of spring clip), with some soiling evident, in better than very fine condition.
