Germany, Third Reich. A 1936 Saar Reunification Event Plaque

(Saarland Wiedervereinigung Plakette). Constructed of silvered bronze, with three holes for attachment, the obverse with an inscription of “LEIBERTREFFEN UND SAARBEFREIUNGSFEIER HOMBURG-SAAR” (“MEETING AND SAAR LIBERATION CELEBRATION HOMBURG-SAAR”), topped by a date of “1936” and a Stahlhelm, above a number “25”, a mobile swastika, and hands breaking a chain, the reverse plain, unmarked, measuring 37 mm (w) x 66 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
