A mixed lot four uniform insignia, including a pair of early Oberfeldwebel shoulder straps, each constructed of dark green wool, trimmed with silver aluminum wire tresses, and pinned with silvered bronze rank pips, both unmarked and measuring 48 mm (w) x 125 mm (l), in uniform-removed and better than very fine condition; a Gebirgsjäger EM/NCO’s sleeve insignia, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss within a knotted border topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 56 mm (w) x 68 mm (h), in near mint condition, and; a Gebirgsjäger EM/NCO’s cap insignia, constructed of a silvered bronze alloy, perforated with five holes for sew-on attachment, the reverse maker marked “G.B.” for Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen, with a manufacture date of “41”, measuring 40 mm (w) x 56 mm (l), with most of its finish lost, in very fine condition.
