Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Uniform Insignia and Accessories

(Insignien und Zubehör). A mixed lot of five uniform insignia and accessories, including a matching set of Gendarmerie Rottmeister shoulder boards, each constructed of card stock-reinforced orange wool and bearing four bands of brown threaded piping, with the outer two bands interspersed with silver aluminum wire chevrons and with an additional silver aluminum wire tresse set across the interior end, both unmarked and measuring 35 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition; a matching set of Reichsbahn Paygroup 14 boards, each constructed of card stock-reinforced red wool, bearing two outer bands of gold bullion wire piping interspersed with dark navy blue threaded chevrons, around two bands of dark navy blue threaded piping interspersed with gold bullion wire chevrons, both unmarked and measuring 26 mm (w) x 120 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition, and; a Schutzpolizei EM/NCO’s portepee, consisting of a stylized acorn constructed of silver aluminum wire with green threading, suspended form a black rayon cord flanked by machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire tresse around a central red threaded band, unmarked, measuring 240 mm as presented, in unissued and extremely fine condition.
