(Orden El Sol del Perú). Instituted 1821. Grand Cross (multi-piece construction, silver gilt and enamels, marked "Pareja" and "CASA NACIONAL DE MONEDA LIMA-PERU" on the reverse, 57.6 mm x 86 mm, on full-length sash with bow-tie); and Breast Star (multi-piece construction, silver gilt and enamels, marked "Pareja" and "CASA NACIONAL DE MONEDA LIMA-PERU" on the reverse, 78.3 mm x 79.5 mm, vertical pinback flanked by dual prongs). Intact enamels, light contact, near extremely fine. In case of issue, Peruvian coat-of-arms on the lid and inside lid, slotted medal bed, exhibiting exterior wear, case very fine.
