(Reichsarbeitsdienst Offizier Koppelschloss und Gürtel). The buckle is constructed of aluminum; the obverse illustrates the standard RAD upward-facing shovel insignia on the obverse, with a swastika (Hakenkreuz) in the centre of the spade, and surrounded b a wreath of wheat sheaves, measuring 47 mm in diameter; marked with the logo of “F.W. Assmann”, “DRGM” and “38” on the reverse. The brocade dress belt is constructed of fine aluminum wire embroidery with three rows of brown embroidery on the upper, and with a brown wool sides, with matching underside. The matching aluminum receiving clip is secured by the belt where it wraps around the reverse and is stitched in place on the left end. The leather tab is brown, with seven rows of two vertically oriented rows of holes for length adjustment. On the belt are two sliders with matching uppers and undersides; measuring 1162 mm (w) x 44 mm (h); in mint condition.
